Role overview
This is a full-time, on-site position in Singapore with a well-established fashion retail brand that has built a strong international footprint and is recognised for its fast-moving, design-led environment. The organisation is one of Asia’s most successful fashion exports.
The company is hiring a detail-focused Workday HRIS Engineer to take ownership of the setup, upkeep, and ongoing improvement of its Workday HR platform. The role is central to maintaining system stability, improving HR workflows, and supporting better decision-making through reliable HR data. You will work across key Workday areas such as HCM, Recruitment, Performance, Absence, and Time Tracking, while partnering closely with HR teams and wider business stakeholders as a dependable technical resource.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and tailor Workday functionality to align with HR requirements, including workflows, security permissions, and reporting structures.
- Carry out routine maintenance, upgrades, and issue resolution to keep the system running smoothly.
- Spot opportunities to simplify HR processes and introduce system improvements that increase efficiency.
- Maintain alignment with internal policies, operating procedures, and applicable regulatory obligations.
- Act as a technical support point for HR users and other stakeholders by diagnosing and resolving system issues.
- Deliver training to help users understand and make better use of Workday.
- Protect the accuracy, integrity, and security of employee information stored in Workday.
- Create reports and dashboards for HR measures such as turnover, headcount, recruitment, and performance.
- Convert HR data into practical recommendations by identifying patterns, risks, and improvement areas across hiring, retention, performance, engagement, and workforce planning.
- Ensure HR records are accurate and handled in line with data collection and retention requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of practical experience handling Workday HCM configuration and support.
- Strong technical capability in Workday configuration and customisation.
- Good troubleshooting ability, along with strong communication and organisational skills.
