The company is hiring a dependable, energetic Warehouse Assistant to support a Life Science and Healthcare warehouse operation in Singapore. This position is practical and hands-on, with responsibility for day-to-day receiving, storage, picking, dispatching, stock accuracy, and keeping the workplace clean and safe. Success in this role depends on strong ownership, careful attention to detail, and a collaborative approach aimed at high customer satisfaction.
The role works closely with the Team Leader and/or Supervisor to make sure customer needs and operational targets are met consistently.
Responsibilities
Core operational duties include handling inbound and outbound warehouse work, maintaining stock accuracy, and supporting safe and efficient daily operations.
- Unload incoming shipments, verify goods, inspect items, and place stock into the correct locations
- Pick, pack, and send out orders with accuracy and speed
- Keep inventory organized and stored properly in assigned areas
- Carry out stock counts, cycle counts, and support inventory audits
- Use material handling equipment when required in the warehouse
- Escalate damaged items or stock mismatches to the relevant supervisor immediately
- Maintain a tidy, orderly, and safe working environment at all times
- Comply with company procedures and all health, safety, security, and environment requirements
- Support smooth daily warehouse operations in line with business goals
- Contribute to reducing operational mistakes by performing tasks accurately
- Take part in continuous improvement efforts to strengthen warehouse performance
- Work closely with internal team members and help build a culture of safety, accountability, and performance
Requirements
- Secondary school education is the minimum qualification
- Basic ability in English, mathematics, and computer use
- Warehouse experience in Life Science or Healthcare is useful but not mandatory
- Forklift certification and experience using material handling equipment are preferred but not essential
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy goods with proper equipment
- Clear communication skills with strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Comfortable working as part of a team in a busy, fast-moving environment
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is an advantage but not required
- Must be open to shift work, including weekends and public holidays when necessary
