User Experience Designer

Role overview

This role calls for a product- and user-focused designer who is motivated by creating technology that benefits the public. You will turn complex problems into clear user journeys, intuitive workflows, well-structured information architecture, and effective interaction patterns. The position requires you to weigh user needs, business priorities, and technical constraints to make thoughtful design decisions that support both the audience and the stakeholders.

You should be comfortable using research and data to guide design choices, and able to explain your thinking to leadership and stakeholders in a clear, confident way. A key part of the role is reviewing user feedback and product usage patterns, then refining the experience to improve outcomes over time.

What you will do

You will take complicated tasks and shape them into designs that are simple, accessible, and easy to use. The work demands careful attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability, and the capability to work through ambiguity with a structured approach.

Hands-on experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Miro is important. Experience in agile, cross-functional product teams is valued, and knowledge of frontend development is considered an added advantage.

What the role requires

The ideal candidate has a strong background in UX, interaction design, or product design, supported by a portfolio that shows success in solving complex problems. This position also values exposure to AI-based experiences and familiarity with accessibility requirements, including WCAG standards and designing for different user groups.
