Training Coordinator – Electrical

Role overview

This full-time position in Doha, Qatar is for a proactive and well-organized Training Coordinator focused on electrical learning programs. The role centers on planning and running training activities, supporting trainee evaluations, and helping deliver vocational development initiatives that meet safety, compliance, and business goals.

Core responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate technical and electrical training sessions.
• Handle trainee onboarding, registration, and assessment processes.
• Work closely with internal teams and outside partners to keep training activities on track.
• Support vocational learning programs and broader employee development efforts.
• Maintain alignment with quality management requirements and internal standards.
• Serve as the main point of contact for trainees from enrollment through completion.
• Organize schedules, training logistics, attendance tracking, completion monitoring, and training records.
• Assist in creating and improving learning materials and future training plans.
• Support competency checks, refresher training, and continuous improvement in electrical safety and technical performance.
• Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to refine training delivery.

Requirements

• A degree or professional certification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar field.
• Specialization or background in Learning and Development.
• A marketing qualification will be considered an added advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience in Learning and Development or training coordination.
• Strong command of both English and Arabic.
• Relevant technical qualification or certification in Electrical Engineering or another related discipline.
• Prior exposure to training in electrical, technical, or high-risk environments such as construction, oil and gas, energy, or utilities is preferred.
• Good understanding of electrical safety standards, regulatory needs, and competency frameworks.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage several training activities at once.
• Comfort using digital tools for scheduling, reporting, and learning management systems.
• Ability to collaborate in a multicultural setting and adapt training methods for different audiences.
