Technical Designer

Role Overview

P+A Projects Pte Ltd creates themed entertainment experiences across the globe and is seeking Technical Designers to help deliver projects through its Singapore team. The role suits someone who is excited by theme parks and inspired by building imaginative environments such as pirate ships, giant dinosaurs, and fairy-tale castles. The position is largely work-from-home at present, but it does include occasional office attendance and onsite meetings.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Work with the project manager, internal team, and consultants to deliver detailed design and construction documentation to a high standard.
• Set up, structure, and organize drawing packages and design sets.
• Develop architectural and structural details as part of the design process.
• Produce 2D and 3D drafting outputs.
• Collect the necessary reference material and inputs required to begin work.
• Develop concepts by reviewing the provided information and source materials.
• Create rough layouts that define arrangement, scale, type size, and styling.
• Seek concept sign-off by presenting preliminary layouts for review and approval.
• Refine and complete final design layouts through the supervisor review cycle.
• Finish projects by coordinating closely with other team members and applying prior experience and knowledge.
• Keep technical skills current by attending workshops, reading professional publications, and participating in relevant professional groups.
• Support the wider team by contributing wherever needed to achieve project outcomes.

Candidate Profile

• Background in Architecture, Engineering, or Interior Design.
• Prior experience in a related field.
• Highly organized, accurate, and detail-focused.
• Strong ability to communicate verbally, in writing, and through graphics.
• Fluent English speaking and writing skills are required.
• Additional language abilities are a strong advantage.
• Self-driven and comfortable working in a very collaborative environment.
• Adaptable enough to manage changing schedules, project needs, multiple time zones, and tight deadlines.
