What you will do

• Carry out accurate setting-out of building elements in line with the relevant construction drawings.
• Perform continuous site checks during the build to confirm that elements are positioned correctly.
• Create survey data from project digital content.
• Measure and verify the final positions of building elements after construction is completed.
• Prepare daily updates covering work completed on site.
• Record the final installation locations to confirm compliance with construction tolerances.
• Use reality capture tools to produce 3D laser scans.
• Process survey data and convert it into outputs that can be used by the wider project team.
• Work in line with construction health, safety and environmental requirements.

Required background

• A minimum Level 7 qualification in surveying, geomatics, or civil engineering.
• Two to three years of hands-on surveying experience.
• Strong practical ability with surveying instruments and equipment.
• Confidence reading and interpreting construction drawings.
• Good communication skills for working with construction managers, engineers, and site teams.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk tools, including AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Competence using MS Office applications.
