Supply Chain Manager

Role Overview

A fast-growing business in the food ingredients and FMCG space is looking for an experienced and commercially aware Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of its full supply chain operation. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can improve service levels, strengthen operational performance, and help the company scale.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee customer service, imports, warehousing, logistics, inventory control, and distribution. The role calls for a proactive leader with broad supply chain exposure, strong team management capability, and a continuous improvement approach.

What You Will Do

• Run the complete supply chain function and make sure operations support growth and customer satisfaction.
• Guide the Customer Service, Imports, and Warehouse teams, keeping priorities, people, and processes aligned.
• Own key business metrics across service, stock, cost, and operational productivity.
• Introduce and embed improvement initiatives that raise service quality, streamline workflows, and lower costs.
• Work closely with Commercial, Procurement, and Finance teams to meet business goals and demand needs.
• Manage inventory, imports, warehousing, and distribution to protect supply continuity and efficient delivery.
• Build strong working relationships with suppliers, freight partners, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Coach and develop team members while fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
• Review operational data and turn insights into action plans that lift performance and create lasting results.
• Ensure supply chain processes can scale to support future business expansion.

What We’re Looking For

• Solid experience across end-to-end supply chain operations, including customer service, imports, warehousing, logistics, and inventory management.
• Prior people management experience with the ability to lead and develop teams effectively.
• Good knowledge of KPI management, operational performance tracking, and cost control.
• Experience delivering process improvements and leading change in a busy environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent organisation, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
• A commercial mindset with the ability to balance customer needs and operational efficiency.
• Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working under pressure.
• A supply chain qualification would be an advantage.
