Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site Supply Chain Manager position in Carlton, Victoria. The role covers the full supply chain lifecycle, including planning demand, managing procurement, controlling inventory, and coordinating with manufacturing and logistics partners. You will be expected to forecast requirements, track stock availability, issue and manage purchase orders, and refine supply plans so paper packaging products are delivered on time and consistently. The position also requires close work with both internal teams and external suppliers to uphold quality standards, support custom and repeat supply programs, and improve operational efficiency and cost control.
What You Will Do
- Plan demand and translate customer requirements into practical supply schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and keep stock within optimal ranges.

- Work with manufacturing and logistics partners to support timely product delivery.
- Review supply chain data, identify risks, and take corrective action where needed.
- Strengthen supply processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and overall cost effectiveness.
- Support both custom and recurring supply arrangements while maintaining quality expectations.
Experience and Qualifications
Applicants should have solid demand planning and forecasting experience, along with the ability to match supply to customer needs. A good grasp of data analysis is important for reviewing metrics and making informed decisions. Prior experience in supply management, including coordination with manufacturers and logistics providers, is required. Strong inventory control skills are needed to avoid shortages and excess stock. Procurement knowledge, including vendor evaluation, purchase order handling, and negotiation, is also essential. A tertiary qualification in supply chain management, logistics, operations, or a related discipline is expected. Experience in packaging, manufacturing, or FMCG environments is considered an advantage. Familiarity with supply chain or ERP platforms and intermediate Excel ability will be helpful. The role also calls for clear communication, strong stakeholder management, problem-solving ability, and a continuous improvement approach.
