Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator

Role Overview

The Supply Chain / Logistics Coordinator role is focused on keeping the flow of goods, materials, and information running efficiently across the supply chain. The position supports day-to-day coordination so procurement, inventory, transport, and distribution activities stay aligned, timely, and cost-effective.

Key Duties

You will help coordinate shipments, monitor delivery progress, and keep inventory levels under control so products remain available and orders are fulfilled on time. The role also involves regular communication with suppliers, vendors, freight partners, and internal teams to keep schedules aligned and resolve issues as they arise.

In addition, the position contributes to supply chain planning by watching stock trends, providing demand inputs, and supporting order processing and replenishment activities. Accurate maintenance of inventory records, shipping paperwork, and logistics reports is also part of the role.

The coordinator will assist in spotting and escalating disruptions such as delays, stock shortages, or transportation problems, and will work with stakeholders to help put prompt solutions in place. There may also be support for cost monitoring, performance reporting, and improvement initiatives that strengthen overall supply chain efficiency.

Close collaboration with procurement, warehouse, operations, and customer service teams is essential to ensure smooth end-to-end coordination and reliable delivery performance.

Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of supply chain and logistics fundamentals, including inventory control, transportation coordination, and order fulfilment workflows.

Confidence using spreadsheet software and supply chain systems is important for tracking shipments, handling inventory data, and reporting operational performance.

Strong organisation and problem-solving ability are needed to manage several logistics tasks at once while keeping work accurate and on schedule.

Good communication and coordination skills are required to work effectively with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and external partners.

Attention to detail is essential for reviewing data, identifying inconsistencies, and supporting smooth logistics execution.

Exposure to supply chain KPIs and process improvement concepts will be considered an advantage.
