Storekeeper

Job Overview

We are seeking a Storekeeper to take charge of inventory control, stock handling, and warehouse organization at CROWN Arabia Can Company Ltd in Jeddah. The role focuses on keeping materials properly stored, tracked, issued, and accounted for so operations run smoothly and stock records stay accurate.

Key Responsibilities

• Accept incoming materials, check them carefully, and compare deliveries with purchase orders and packing documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date stock entries in the company’s inventory tools and software.
• Arrange supplies in the correct storage locations to make the best use of available space and keep items easy to access.
• Release materials to departments based on requisitions and ensure all issue records are properly maintained.
• Carry out periodic stock checks and resolve any differences between physical stock and system records.
• Track inventory movement and flag items that need replenishment before shortages or excess stock build up.
• Keep the store area clean, orderly, and compliant with safety requirements.
• Use forklifts or other handling equipment in a safe manner when certified to do so.
• Help with loading and unloading activities whenever required.
• Identify damaged or faulty items and support their return or disposal process.
• Follow all applicable company safety rules and operating procedures.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
• Prior work experience as a storekeeper or in a comparable inventory control role is preferred, especially in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong planning, organization, and time management abilities are important.
• Comfort with inventory systems and basic computer tools such as MS Office is needed.
• The job may involve lifting heavy items and performing physically demanding tasks.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are essential.
• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills are expected.
• Forklift certification will be considered an added advantage.
• The candidate should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
