Steward - Cloud Kitchen

Role Overview

Hostmind is looking for a dependable Kitchen Steward to keep the back-of-house area spotless, sanitary, and well organized so daily kitchen work can run without interruptions.

Core Responsibilities

• Follow the company’s internal rules along with health, safety, and sanitation requirements.
• Clean, sanitize, and put away dishes, glassware, cutlery, and other kitchen tools correctly.
• Wash ovens, grills, refrigerators, and work surfaces according to the cleaning plan.
• Use dishwashing equipment and notify the manager about any breakdowns or repair needs.
• Handle cleaning agents carefully and store them as directed and in line with safety procedures.
• Clear garbage, recyclables, and other waste in a timely and proper manner.
• Keep the work area tidy, hygienic, and well arranged throughout the shift.
• Support cooks and service staff whenever assistance is needed to keep operations flowing smoothly.
• Track cleaning material usage and inform management when supplies run low.
• Take on additional tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications and Working Conditions

Candidates with prior exposure to food and beverage operations will be preferred. The role requires strong personal hygiene and grooming habits, attention to detail, good organizational ability, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment. The position also requires flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
