Role Overview
The Content Operations Specialist serves as the main administrator and day-to-day contact for the company’s promotional work management platform. This role helps coordinate video, image, and digital promotion requests across the business, balances resources, supports project tracking, and keeps stakeholders informed. It also includes onboarding, user support, documentation, and ongoing improvements to asset workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the system administrator and in-house expert for the promotional asset work management tool.
- Review incoming video, image, and digital promotion requests to confirm accuracy and check whether the timeline is workable.
- Partner with marketing and broadcast teams to assess resource requirements and support change management efforts.
- Maintain accurate data entry in the asset planning system and keep stakeholders updated on progress.
- Protect system cleanliness and data quality so downstream automations function properly.
- Allocate work across Content Operations team members and rebalance assignments when priorities shift.
- Control user roles, access, and permissions within the system.
- Train and onboard new users on how to use the promotional work management platform.
- Compile, write, and maintain process and workflow documentation.
- Work with cross-functional teams to streamline daily operations and improve workflows.
- Support team-wide initiatives and participate in process improvement discussions.
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 3 years of professional experience in operations or media project management.
- Strong planning and organization skills for handling a high volume of requests and stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks across multiple channels of communication.
- Comfort adapting to changing workflows and evolving business priorities.
- Strong focus on accuracy in data creation, tracking, and maintenance.
- Solid analytical ability to assess complex project requests and workflow needs.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and departments.
- Preferred exposure to Adobe Workfront or similar project/work management tools.
- Helpful background in entertainment, production, or post-production workflows.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $75,000 per year.
