About the Role
The Site Planning Engineer is crucial for compiling, analyzing, and presenting essential project data. This role involves creating structured reports like Daily Progress Reports (DPRs), Weekly Progress Reports (WPRs), and Monthly Progress Reports (MPRs), alongside MIS dashboards. You will serve as a key liaison, translating raw execution and planning information into valuable insights for prompt decision-making by project leadership.
Responsibilities
- Gather and consolidate daily, weekly, and monthly progress information from execution, quality, safety, and stores departments, ensuring data integrity.
- Generate DPRs, WPRs, and MPRs in predefined formats, detailing physical and financial progress, workforce allocation, material usage, and work status.
- Assist the planning team in updating construction schedules using Primavera or MS Project and extract pertinent data for MIS reports.
- Liaise with site teams to acquire updates on actual versus planned progress, including milestone completion, critical task status, and outstanding approvals.
- Establish and manage structured MIS trackers for material reconciliation, performance metrics, subcontractor evaluations, and delay tracking.
