Site Leader

About the Role

Hamilton Aquatics is hiring an experienced and driven Site Leader to oversee the delivery of its Learn to Swim programme in Doha, Qatar. This role is ideal for a swimming teacher who is ready to step up into a leadership position and take ownership of site operations in a busy aquatic setting.

In this position, you will guide a team of swim teachers, support high standards of lesson delivery, and help create a positive experience for swimmers of all ages and abilities. You will also be responsible for smooth site operations, strong customer service, and maintaining retention and satisfaction across the programme.

Programme Leadership and Delivery

• Direct a team of swim teachers to make sure lessons are delivered to a consistently high standard.
• Plan and implement lessons in accordance with Hamilton Aquatics’ teaching approach.
• Track lesson quality and learner progress to support successful movement through the programme.

Site Management and Customer Service

• Oversee the everyday running of the Learn to Swim site.
• Strengthen customer satisfaction and retention by providing excellent service.
• Respond to customer questions and issues in a professional manner, escalating matters when needed.

Team Leadership and Development

• Coach and encourage swim teachers to support their ongoing growth.
• Support hiring, induction, training, and performance review activities.

Administration and Compliance

• Handle lesson timetables, attendance records, and customer communication.
• Monitor site safety, including compliance with child protection requirements and health and safety rules.
• Keep administrative records accurate and ensure the site follows Hamilton Aquatics’ policies.

Requirements

• Swim England Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification, or an equivalent certification.
• At least 2 years of experience teaching swimmers with different ability levels.
• Demonstrated background in administration, recruitment, and KPI-based work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across in-person, phone, and email channels.
• Experience in a curriculum-led environment.
• Valid driving licence, subject to Qatar conversion rules.

Desirable Experience

• Current lifeguard qualification.
• Background in teaching adult and child programmes.
• Experience working in a club environment.
