Senior Solution Architect

Opportunity

An established European deep-tech organization that is advancing AI infrastructure is growing its Middle East pre-sales function. The business is known for technology that can reduce large language model size by as much as 95% and cut inference spend by 50–80%. It is now seeking an experienced Mid/Senior Solution Architect to join the team in Qatar.

This position plays a key pre-sales role, connecting advanced AI capabilities with enterprise business needs. The focus is on designing practical, scalable, and resilient AI-driven solutions for large organizations in sectors such as finance, energy, manufacturing, telecom, and industrial operations.

Role Overview

In this position, you will serve as a technical advisor in customer and partner discussions, independently deliver product demonstrations, and take the lead on technical documentation for proposals, RFPs, and tenders. You will also shape full-stack AI/ML solution designs across cloud, hybrid, on-premises, and sovereign environments.

You will explain sophisticated AI, LLM, and quantum-inspired technologies in a way that is meaningful for both technical teams and business stakeholders, while working closely with sales and engineering to ensure the proposed design matches customer needs and can be delivered effectively.

Responsibilities

• Represent the technical side of the solution in conversations with customers and partners.
• Independently conduct live product demos and support technical selling activities.
• Prepare and contribute to proposals, RFP responses, and tender submissions.
• Design complete AI/ML architectures for cloud, hybrid, on-premise, and sovereign deployments.
• Convert advanced AI and LLM capabilities into clear, business-relevant solution designs.
• Work alongside sales and engineering teams to align architecture with customer goals and delivery feasibility.

Requirements

• Background in technical pre-sales, sales engineering, or implementation consulting with substantial exposure to enterprise clients.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, including AI/ML services like SageMaker, Vertex AI, and AzureML.
• Ability to estimate GPU requirements for LLM training or inference, including memory, throughput, and hardware selection from A10 through H200.
• Working knowledge of MLOps tooling and practices such as Kubeflow, Flyte, MLflow, and CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for packaging and running AI workloads.
• Understanding of LLM serving and inference tools such as vLLM, llama.cpp, and OpenVINO, along with model formats like ONNX and Hugging Face.
• Ability to benchmark LLM performance using metrics such as latency, throughput, and accuracy.
• Practical coding ability in Python and SQL, plus familiarity with libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Willingness and ability to travel for client meetings and industry events.
• Professional fluency in Arabic and English.
• Valid legal authorization to work in Qatar.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to multimodal AI, including computer vision, speech, and vision-language models.
• Practical involvement in RAG pipelines, multi-agent systems, AI optimization, or quantization.
• Experience with big data architecture design for both batch and streaming workloads.
• Understanding of data privacy, ethical AI, and related compliance requirements.
