Role overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will help build the core systems that power a frontier AI healthcare platform. The work spans the voice stack, agent coordination, and integrations with healthcare tools and scheduling systems. You will design and deliver backend services that must be fast, dependable, observable, and safe, because clinicians and patients rely on them. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build AI systems that take meaningful real-world action.

What you'll do

• Design and implement the backend foundations that run the company’s agent platform.
• Take ownership of integrations with clinical software and scheduling infrastructure.
• Raise system performance, reliability, and observability across the product.
• Help shape agent reasoning, memory, and workflow logic.
• Work closely with founders, product, and customers to turn needs into shipped solutions.
• Influence engineering practices and the long-term technical roadmap.

Minimum requirements

• At least 4 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Strong command of Python, with experience owning systems from design through production.
• Hands-on exposure to cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Experience launching and supporting production systems.
• Comfort working in fast-changing, ambiguous environments with a high degree of ownership.
• Solid architectural judgment and problem-solving ability.
• A product-oriented mindset focused on how software is actually used.

Tech stack

The current stack includes React on the frontend, Python and FastAPI on the backend, and AWS for cloud infrastructure. The team remains open to adopting newer tools when they make sense.
