Role overview
The organization is hiring a Senior Scheduling/Planning Engineer / Senior Cost Budget Controller for its PMS project in India. This position is responsible for leading the project controls team assigned to multiple projects and supporting the Project Management team with project control activities.
The role also includes reviewing early-phase deliverables such as FEL1 and FEL2, with particular attention to cost, schedule, and risk inputs prepared by the KJO front-end development department.
Core responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the project controls team across several project assignments.
- Provide project controls support to the Project Management team.
- Review early-stage engineering and planning outputs, including FEL1 and FEL2 deliverables.
- Assess cost, schedule, and risk considerations in front-end development submissions.
Experience and skills required
- Minimum 14 years of overall experience, including at least 10 years directly involved in project management, planning, scheduling, cost estimation, budget control, procurement tracking, and forecasting for engineering and construction work on major oil and gas projects.
- Prior PMC experience in a comparable position is preferred.
- Strong understanding of contracting approaches and execution strategies used in project delivery.
- Previous exposure to schedule and cost benchmarking in upstream oil and gas projects.
- Comfortable using MS Office tools, especially Word and Excel, with working knowledge of Primavera P6.
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, construction, or project management.
