Position Overview
As a pre-sales consultant, you will support the sales organization by bringing product knowledge and solution expertise into customer conversations. Your role will involve understanding prospective clients' needs, showcasing how the company's offerings can solve their business challenges, and helping move opportunities forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the sales team to uncover customer requirements, pain points, and business objectives.
- Deliver compelling product demos tailored to the specific context and needs of each prospect.
- Offer technical guidance throughout the sales cycle, including responses to product-related questions and concerns.
- Contribute to the design of customized solutions aligned with client goals and requirements.
- Support proposal creation by preparing technical documentation and solution architecture materials.
- Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and industry changes to share useful insights with the sales team.
- Coordinate with the training team to help customers understand product capabilities and recommended best practices.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or higher is required, and the major is open. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in pre-sales, technical sales, or a related role within the BI sector. Strong command of both English and Arabic is essential. You should also have a solid grasp of business intelligence, data visualization, and analytics tools, along with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical audiences.
Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience using BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
The role also calls for strong collaboration, problem-solving ability, and comfort working in a team setting. Additional technical capability is expected in SQL scripting, Excel, JavaScript, Linux deployment and maintenance, and related tools. Experience with at least one database engine is required. You should also be self-driven in learning data analysis applications and integrating IT technical solutions.
