Senior Planning Manager

The company is hiring for a senior planning leadership role within a major digital infrastructure initiative in Abu Dhabi, delivered with a leading data centre developer. The assignment involves intricate design coordination, rapid delivery cycles, and strict governance within a mission-critical setting. The programme uses established global standards in programme, project, and commercial management to support resilient infrastructure delivered at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply planning and scheduling approaches, tools, and techniques across complex assignments.
• Use advanced knowledge of planning, earned value management, and project controls to improve performance and decision-making.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, project teams, and other stakeholders to keep everyone aligned.
• Assess complicated requirements, provide structured analysis, and recommend corrective steps where needed.
• Guide and grow a team of planning specialists while supporting strong delivery standards.
• Work with clients to secure buy-in for recommendations and proposals that improve project results.
• Carry out other tasks needed to meet programme and project delivery commitments.
• Support the goal of net zero carbon by helping identify, manage, and reduce carbon emissions associated with the delivery of the work.

Requirements

• A degree, or equivalent practical experience, in construction, programme management, project management, or commercial management.
• Progress toward chartered membership with a recognised professional body.
• Strong expertise in scheduling software and planning tools.
• Prior work experience in the United Arab Emirates is required for client approval.
