Senior Interchange & Pricing Analyst

Role overview

An established digital payments organization in Dubai is seeking a seasoned Senior Interchange & Pricing Analyst to lead pricing analysis and optimization within the acquiring side of the business. The role focuses on improving revenue performance, maintaining pricing accuracy, and supporting commercial decisions with data-driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Build, review, and refine pricing approaches for the acquiring payments business.
• Track interchange, scheme charges, and any changes affecting pricing outcomes.
• Study transaction-level data, merchant segments, and overall revenue trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Contribute to pricing governance, revenue assurance activities, and system enhancement or change programs.
• Create pricing frameworks, reporting dashboards, and market/industry insights for decision-making.
• Carry out competitor benchmarking and spot opportunities to improve revenue.
• Assist with tender submissions, commercial discussions, and renewal negotiations.
• Serve as the go-to expert for queries related to pricing.

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of professional experience in banking, fintech, or financial services.
• At least 4 years of direct experience in card payments, specifically covering interchange and scheme fee structures.
• Strong analytical ability with solid financial understanding.
• Advanced Excel skills, along with working knowledge of SQL and/or Python.
• Clear communication style and strong stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously while balancing several priorities at once.
