Role Overview
The Sales Assistant position suits someone who puts customers first and enjoys helping create an engaging, genuine shopping experience. The role sits within a growth-focused retail business that values internal development and career progression. The right person will be comfortable in a busy, sales-led environment and bring energy, warmth, and a sense of fun to the store.
Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly, high-quality service and build positive relationships with customers.
- Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately.
- Develop strong knowledge of products across the business.
- Keep the store presented to a high standard and support merchandising activity.
- Work toward sales budgets, targets, and KPI goals.
- Help manage stock levels and maintain product quality.
- Follow national laws, workplace health and safety requirements, and security procedures.
Requirements
- A strong drive to achieve and surpass sales targets.
- Experience working effectively in a fast-moving retail setting.
- A cheerful, approachable, and energetic manner.
- A genuine commitment to excellent customer service.
- A valid Police Check Report if the interview stage is successful.
