About the Role
H&P is looking for a Rig Administrator in Saudi Arabia to handle the day-to-day administrative workload for rig operations. This position supports the Tool Pusher with crew administration, logistics, and related coordination tasks, while also managing communication and movement support for personnel, materials, and equipment.
The role reports directly to the Tool Pusher and plays a central part in keeping administrative processes, records, and logistical flow organized across the rig and base office.
Areas of Responsibility
Work is carried out under the direction of the Senior Toolpusher / Tool Pusher.
Team Supervision
- Rig drivers
- Ambulance drivers
- Gate guards
Key Duties
- Coordinate communication and logistics between the rig, H&P base, flights when needed, crew changes, and equipment transfers.
- Complete administration and materials logistics tasks assigned by the Tool Pusher.
- Oversee that gate guards are applying the required procedures.
- Support the medic with administrative follow-up.
- Keep the Emergency Response Plan contact list current.
- Welcome arriving personnel and record their details.
- Circulate morning reports as needed.
- Maintain filing and reporting systems for the rig and camp.
- Administer and monitor the Safe Journey Management system.
- Protect confidential information and share it only with approval from the Tool Pusher.
- Keep the EDRS POB register and room allocation records updated.
- Manage all personnel movements leaving the rig.
- Arrange domestic flight bookings for crew changes and other personnel travel.
- Safeguard the original HSE Passports for all employees working on the rig.
- Create rig purchase requisitions in SAP.
- Update daily materials consumption records in SAP and EDRS.
- Process goods receipt and material transfer requests in SAP.
- Maintain SAP certification records for operations equipment and materials.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by the Tool Pusher.
- Update the training matrix and inform the base office training focal point about future course bookings.
- Track and update the Short Service Employee program.
