Role Overview

This position is for a full-cycle Recruiter who will take ownership of hiring across roles in technology, commercial, operations, and corporate functions. You will work closely with hiring managers, carry out proactive sourcing, and ensure candidates have a smooth, professional experience from the first conversation through offer acceptance. The role is practical and high-autonomy within a small internal team, making it a strong fit for someone in the early stages of a recruiting career who wants broad exposure and cross-border hiring experience.

Because many stakeholders are based in China and some roles require interaction with Mandarin-speaking teams and candidates, this job requires professional written and spoken Mandarin in addition to English.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run the full hiring process for assigned positions, including intake discussions, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer management, and closing candidates.
  • Work with hiring managers to define role expectations, align on must-have criteria, and build structured, fair interview workflows.
  • Search for candidates proactively and develop strong talent pipelines through direct outreach, LinkedIn, referrals, and talent communities.
  • Take ownership of the candidate journey by ensuring timely communication, clear updates, and a polished representation of Wiseasy at every stage.
  • Coordinate with headquarters stakeholders in China and identify, assess, and engage Mandarin-speaking candidates for China-facing positions.
  • Keep ATS records accurate and current, and help prepare routine reporting on pipeline quality, time-to-fill, and related hiring metrics.
  • Assist with employer branding, talent mapping, and ongoing improvements to recruitment processes.
  • Support work pass and onboarding coordination with the broader HR team when needed.

Requirements

  • 0 to 5 years of end-to-end recruiting experience, either in-house or agency; candidates at the earlier end of the range with strong potential are welcome.
  • Professional Mandarin communication skills, both written and spoken, are required for work with China-based stakeholders and Mandarin-speaking or China-facing candidates.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • Strong sourcing ability and confidence in reaching out to candidates directly.
  • Excellent organisation skills and the capacity to manage several open roles and changing priorities at once.
  • A candidate- and manager-focused service mindset.
  • Preference for applicants with recruiting experience in fintech, payments, hardware, or technology.
  • Helpful exposure to hiring across APAC, EMEA, or NORAM regions.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and basic recruiting metrics is advantageous.
  • Awareness of Singapore employment practices and work pass processes such as EP and SP is a plus.
