About the Role
Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Rebar InCharge for their Hyderabad operations. This role is crucial for overseeing rebar fabrication processes, ensuring quality, safety, and efficient material usage. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fabrication techniques, welding, and material management, along with the ability to lead a team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage rebar fabrication processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
- Optimize the usage of materials, focusing on minimizing scrap and offcuts.
- Monitor project progress against planned targets and achievement rates.
- Liaise effectively with engineer representatives and various internal departments.
- Ensure a safe working environment for all personnel, machinery, and operations.
- Maintain quality control at every stage of the fabrication process.
- Submit monthly steel requirements to the Construction Manager.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all process-related reports in compliance with ISO requirements.
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and workers.
- Effectively handle subcontractors and labor.
- Implement new fabrication methods to improve efficiency and quality.
- Supervise and ensure the quality of finishing work.
