QA/QC Engineer

Role Overview

This position is for a QA/QC professional responsible for establishing and running the project quality system at site level. The role focuses on maintaining compliance with company quality standards, contract requirements, and ISO 9001 principles while coordinating inspections across construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and put into practice the project-specific quality assurance and quality control plan in line with internal quality policies, contractual specifications, and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Direct and supervise the full QA/QC team at the project site, assign duties, review inspection records, and keep coordination smooth across all construction trades.
• Manage stage-by-stage inspections and approvals for reinforcement, formwork/shuttering, concrete placement, blockwork, plastering, tiling, painting, structural steel erection, and MEP works.
• Monitor the inspection and testing of incoming materials on time, check test certificates, oversee sampling activities, and work with third-party laboratories to confirm compliance.
• Detect non-conformances early, raise NCRs, carry out root cause investigation, and implement corrective as well as preventive actions to avoid recurrence.

Quality Management Focus

The role requires close attention to documentation, inspection readiness, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of site quality practices. Strong coordination with project teams and external testing agencies is essential to ensure workmanship and materials meet required standards.
