Role overview
The QA Operator role at AMAX is based in Shannon, County Clare, Ireland. This position is focused on quality checks within a manufacturing environment, with an emphasis on following procedures, maintaining safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement.
Key duties
- Comply with all workplace safety policies and regulations at all times.
- Carry out work in line with manufacturing instructions and process requirements.
- Report any defects, mismatches, or other issues identified during inspection.
- Share practical suggestions that could improve efficiency or quality in the work area.
- Be available to support overtime when operational needs require it.
- Maintain discipline on the job and cooperate with assigned tasks as directed.
Requirements
- Minimum education level: high school graduate.
- At least 6 months of relevant experience, ideally in manufacturing testing or quality inspection.
- Good visual inspection ability and the capacity to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Basic computer literacy and prior IPC background or experience.
