Role Overview
Our client, a software development company in Cork, is hiring a QA Manual Tester to support the delivery of high-quality web, mobile, and API products. This is a permanent position within a small, committed engineering team working on a global platform. The role is based in Cork with a hybrid setup, and remote work may be possible once the training period has been completed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on manual testing for web applications and native mobile apps.
- Carry out API testing as part of the quality assurance process.
- Develop, update, and manage test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Run integration, system, regression, and cross-browser testing.
- Log defects, follow up on issues, and partner with developers to support resolution.
- Share concise progress updates and quality findings with the team.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and international stakeholders.
Requirements
- Background in manual testing across web and mobile applications.
- Practical experience testing APIs.
- Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting ability.
- Good communication skills and a sharp eye for detail.
- Experience handling test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
- Familiarity with Agile ways of working.
Compensation
The salary offered is €45,000 to €55,000 per year, depending on experience.
