Role overview
The Production Manager will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day shopfloor activities, keeping manufacturing schedules on track, and ensuring output, quality, and delivery commitments are consistently met.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily production operations and maintain manufacturing plans and schedules.
- Oversee fabrication, roll forming, punching, cutting, assembly, and dispatch functions.
- Drive achievement of production goals, quality benchmarks, and delivery timelines.
- Improve machine usage, workforce productivity, and overall manufacturing efficiency.
- Work closely with design, procurement, and logistics teams to keep operations aligned.
- Apply quality assurance and workplace safety practices across the plant.
Desired profile
- Should have 1 to 5 years of experience in solar structure manufacturing or a similar industrial setting.
- Prior exposure to managing projects successfully in a comparable role is preferred.
- A Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in a relevant discipline such as Energy and Power Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is expected.
- Must understand core production management concepts and process-improvement methods.
