Role Overview
We are looking for a Product Manager to shape, build, and continuously improve digital healthcare solutions that strengthen patient engagement, support value-based care, and contribute to better clinical outcomes. In this role, you will work across clinical, operations, engineering, analytics, and business functions to create products that elevate the patient journey, improve care quality, and produce measurable results for healthcare populations.
This opportunity is best suited for someone with strong healthcare product experience, especially in value-based care models, population health, and patient engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the product direction and roadmap for patient engagement and value-based care programs.
- Work with clinical, operational, analytics, and engineering stakeholders to shape strategy and prioritize what gets built.
- Use patient, provider, and population-level data to uncover opportunities to improve engagement, quality indicators, and care outcomes.
- Translate business needs into product requirements, user stories, success metrics, and business justification for new features.
- Manage the full product lifecycle from early discovery and ideation through launch and ongoing optimization.
- Evaluate user behavior, healthcare trends, and market movement to guide product decisions.
- Track product results through KPIs and refine the product based on data and stakeholder input.
- Make sure solutions meet healthcare compliance, regulatory expectations, and organizational goals.
- Contribute to initiatives related to preventive care, care gap closure, patient outreach, care management, and quality improvement.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable digital experiences for patients, providers, and care teams.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- At least 5 years of product management experience.
- Previous experience in the healthcare sector is mandatory.
- Background supporting value-based care, population health, accountable care organizations (ACOs), care management, or payer-provider programs.
- Experience creating digital products for patients, providers, or care teams.
- Solid knowledge of healthcare workflows and patient engagement approaches.
- Proven ability to build roadmaps, manage backlogs, and convert business needs into product requirements.
- Strong analytical thinking and data-led decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience working in Agile product development environments.
Preferred Background
- Exposure to Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, quality measures, risk adjustment, or population health initiatives.
- Experience building products for patient engagement, preventive care, outreach, care gap closure, or member experience.
- Understanding of value-based reimbursement structures and healthcare performance metrics.
- Experience collaborating with clinical, data science, analytics, or care management teams to drive measurable outcomes.
Target Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has built products that increase patient activation, improve quality outcomes, boost preventive care usage, support care coordination, close care gaps, strengthen provider performance, or drive success in value-based care settings. Direct experience working with clinical stakeholders, population health teams, or accountable care organizations is especially valuable.
