The business is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious Process Operator for its Tingalpa operation. The role involves working with highly automated production equipment. Please note that role-specific training is required and will be delivered during the week.
Shift and employment details
- Weekday afternoon roster: Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm
- Permanent full-time position
Responsibilities
- Run industrial cooking systems and production equipment used in manufacturing.
- Operate highly automated robotic machinery that packs chips into packets and cartons.
- Capture, enter, and maintain accurate information in computer-based systems.
- Carry out flavour testing to ensure the correct seasoning is supplied for each production run.
- Perform quality inspections and manage materials and waste in line with requirements.
Qualifications and requirements
- Previous experience in processing, food manufacturing, an industrial kitchen, or a cooking environment.
- Working knowledge of HACCP and GMP, along with a demonstrated record of dependable and safe work habits.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, with a keen eye for detail, safety, and reliability.
