Role overview
Elite HR Consultancy is hiring a Private Tutor in Abu Dhabi, UAE to provide tailored one-to-one learning and developmental assistance for a child. This role requires a caring professional with a solid foundation in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and practical experience applying ABA programs while working under expert supervision.
What the role involves
- Deliver personalized educational and developmental support suited to the child’s individual needs.
- Apply ABA-based methods and intervention plans as directed by a supervisor.
- Help strengthen the child’s academic, social, communication, and behavioral growth.
- Accompany the child and provide support during learning and development-related activities when needed.
- Keep clear and accurate progress records, notes, and reports.
- Work closely with parents, supervisors, and any other professionals involved in the child’s care.
- Design engaging, age-appropriate, and creative learning activities that match the child’s requirements.
- Protect the child’s safety, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
- Use a laptop confidently for documentation, communication, and reporting tasks.
Requirements
- Certified ABAT, RBT (Registered Behavior Technician), or an equivalent ABA qualification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, Education, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience applying ABA techniques under professional supervision.
- Ability to share supervisor contact details for reference checks and recommendation purposes.
Skills and competencies
- Strong spoken and written English communication.
- Tagalog language skills are preferred.
- Good planning, organization, and time-management abilities.
- Dependable, punctual, and professionally presented.
- Comfortable using laptops and common computer software.
- Patient, creative, and compassionate when working with children.
- Able to handle pressure and regulate emotions professionally.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Consistent commitment to confidentiality and professional conduct.
Compensation and benefits
The monthly salary for this position is AED 5,000 to AED 6,000. The employer provides an employment visa, health insurance, and transportation to and from the family residence.
