Role overview
This contract role is centered on private equity research work, with an emphasis on producing decision-ready analysis that supports investment evaluation, market understanding, and deal assessment.
The position is remote and requires a commitment of more than 10 hours each week. Compensation is set at $130 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Create and improve financial models that inform investment decisions.
- Prepare concise investment memos and structured analytical write-ups.
- Carry out market sizing exercises and assess total addressable market potential.
- Review deal-related documents such as CIMs and due diligence materials.
- Assist with deal sourcing by researching and screening potential opportunities.
Core requirements
- Solid understanding of private equity transaction processes and investment analysis.
- Proven ability to build financial models and organize complex analysis effectively.
- Hands-on experience working with transaction documents and diligence materials.
- Ability to turn detailed analysis into clear, well-written insights.
- Reliable performance in independent, project-based work settings.
Additional strengths
- Experience with legal documents or NDA-related materials in transaction environments is an advantage.
