Power BI Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Architect to join our team remotely. This role requires extensive experience in Power BI, ideally with a background in the healthcare industry. The architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust Power BI solutions, including reports and dashboards, that leverage data from diverse sources. Key responsibilities include creating complex DAX measures, implementing advanced report features, and ensuring the reliability of data refreshes. This is a remote position with an estimated duration of 6 to 8 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop sophisticated Power BI reports and interactive dashboards.
• Integrate data from various sources such as databases, Excel files, CSV, SharePoint, and Snowflake.
• Utilize Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) to create essential measures and calculated columns.
• Implement interactive report elements including slicers, filters, drill-down capabilities, sorting, and diverse visualization types.
• Apply advanced Power BI functionalities such as conditional formatting, drill-through pages, buttons, page navigation, bookmarks, and reset features.
• Manage the publishing of reports, configure scheduled data refreshes, and perform daily monitoring of refresh operations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience with Power BI.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Proficiency in using DAX for data analysis and manipulation.
• Experience in connecting to and transforming data from multiple sources.
• Familiarity with advanced Power BI features for enhanced user experience and functionality.
• Experience in managing report deployment and refresh schedules.
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry is highly preferred.

Additional Information

This is a remote role with an anticipated project duration of 6 to 8 months.
