PMO Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and well-organized PMO Manager to support project governance and delivery in the United Arab Emirates. This role focuses on strengthening how projects are planned, tracked, and executed across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the Project Management Office and ensure strong governance across projects.
• Create, refine, and roll out project management standards, methods, and best practices.
• Track project portfolios, budgets, timelines, risk items, and resource usage.
• Prepare executive-level updates, dashboards, and performance reports.
• Guide project managers through planning, execution, and delivery to help them succeed.
• Set up project controls, risk management practices, and compliance procedures.
• Make sure project work supports business objectives and strategic priorities.
• Continuously improve project management maturity and capability across the business.

Candidate Profile

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline is required.
• Applicants should have prior experience in PMO leadership, portfolio management, or senior-level project management.
• Solid understanding of project governance, portfolio oversight, and PMO operating models is needed.
• Professional credentials such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-PgMP, PMI-PMOCP, or similar qualifications are preferred.
• Hands-on exposure to tools like Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira, or Asana will be useful.
• Strong analytical ability, leadership qualities, communication skills, and stakeholder handling experience are important.
• The role requires the ability to handle several complex projects and strategic programs at the same time.
