PMO Lead

Role overview

PwC India is seeking a PMO Lead to support reliability and operational excellence for industrial software platforms. The role is based in Pune District, Maharashtra, and focuses on building strong SRE practices across client environments that include APM, SCADA, edge, and OT-connected systems.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and run SLI/SLO models and error budget practices for large-scale industrial software environments.
• Create and roll out observability pipelines with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Jaeger across AWS and Azure.
• Put incident response processes in place and facilitate blameless postmortems with client engineering teams.
• Design and execute chaos engineering experiments to identify reliability weaknesses before production impact.
• Develop automated runbooks and self-healing patterns to reduce manual effort and on-call load.
• Help client teams build SRE maturity through documentation, knowledge transfer, and coaching on SRE ways of working.

Required skills and experience

The position calls for enterprise-grade SLI/SLO design and error budget management, hands-on observability across multi-cloud environments, incident management expertise, and experience setting up on-call and postmortem practices. The role also needs scripting and automation skills in Python, Go, or Bash, plus practical familiarity with industrial, OT/IT, energy, manufacturing, or connected-product ecosystems. Experience with GitOps and CI/CD SRE gates using tools such as ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, or Flux will be valuable.
