Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site Physiotherapist position in Singapore. The selected professional will work with children and young people who have a wide range of physical, developmental, and sensory needs. The role combines standard physiotherapy practice with specialized intervention approaches and intensive therapy programs.

Core Duties

You will carry out detailed assessments, create tailored treatment plans, and provide both individual and group therapy sessions. You will also record client progress promptly and accurately, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and involve caregivers in home-based programs. In addition, you will take part in case discussions, goal setting, program enhancement, and training or supervision activities. A key part of the role is helping preserve a safe, welcoming, and engaging therapy setting.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should hold a recognized Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy, or an equivalent qualification, and must have full registration with AHPC in Singapore. Experience in pediatric physiotherapy, neurorehabilitation, or supporting neurodivergent individuals and people with developmental or physical disabilities is preferred, though a strong interest in these areas is also valued.

You should be able to assess motor function, posture, gait, strength, coordination, and functional mobility, and translate those findings into practical, goal-oriented treatment plans. The role also calls for strong teamwork, clear communication with families, and the ability to explain therapy goals and home exercises in a supportive way.

Comfort with intensive therapy blocks, play-based and task-focused interventions, and adapting sessions for different sensory and behavioral needs is important. You must be able to keep accurate clinical records, manage your caseload responsibly, and work in line with organizational policies and professional ethics. An openness to learning specialized methods such as suit therapies, task-specific electrical stimulation, adaptive sports, and vibration-based interventions is also expected; training may be provided. Strong problem-solving ability, resilience, and a person-centered outlook are essential.
