Role Overview

Grand Hotel Malahide, a 4-star property operating under FBD Hotels & Resorts, is hiring a full-time Pastry Chef to join its kitchen team in Malahide, Ireland. The role calls for someone with strong creative ability, a keen eye for detail, and a high standard of presentation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing desserts and pastries for several service points, including busy banqueting operations.
• Plating and presenting all pastry items to a high standard.
• Managing stock ordering for the pastry section.
• Contributing ideas for pastry menus and new creations.
• Maintaining hygiene standards and ensuring compliance within the pastry area.
• Keeping close control of stock usage and inventory in the pastry section.
• Supporting other parts of the kitchen whenever needed.
