About the role

Primark is hiring an in-store Operations Support colleague to help keep store processes running smoothly while supporting a safe, well-organized customer and colleague environment. The position focuses on operational accuracy, health and safety coordination, and day-to-day store support to help deliver an excellent shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with the Store Manager and the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Lead on operational and EHS-related tasks.
  • Act as a key in-store contact for maintaining a safe working environment and supporting a positive experience for shoppers.
  • Help with POS ticket printing and price adjustment updates to support the customer experience.
  • Support EHS activities in line with local requirements, including onboarding safety training and refresher sessions.
  • Identify and help reduce hazards while contributing to training initiatives and operational improvement efforts.
  • Raise repair requests, coordinate with contractors, and assist with the paperwork needed for contractor work.
  • Track and report technology issues and work toward timely resolution of repairs.
  • Update internal systems, keep stock files accurate, and manage the lost property process.
  • Order PPE, stationery, shop-floor hardware items, and make sure first aid kits are fully stocked.
  • Carry out routine self-audits and keep the Store Manager / EHS & Operations In-Store Lead informed about daily and weekly actions, deadlines, and progress.

Compensation
