Position Details
The opening is for an ML Engineer focused on coding-agent workflows. The role is remote and offered on a contract basis, with compensation set at $85 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Use advanced AI coding assistants to complete and assess challenging machine learning and AI engineering assignments.
- Examine implementation work generated by models across training pipelines, inference systems, MLOps setups, and LLM-based applications.
- Spot defects, unusual edge cases, efficiency problems, and broader failure patterns in AI systems.
- Evaluate outputs from several frontier models and judge their relative strengths and limitations.
- Apply sound engineering judgment to realistic machine learning scenarios and technical tradeoffs.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of professional experience in machine learning engineering.
- Hands-on experience building production ML systems, deployment infrastructure, LLM applications, or AI-driven products.
- Frequent use of AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, Gemini CLI, or similar platforms.
- Capability to review model-produced machine learning code and evaluate technical decisions.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience deploying machine learning systems into production environments.
Compensation and Legal Notes
Payment is tied to approved work, with $400 paid for each accepted task. The application process is expected to take about 20 to 30 minutes and includes uploading a resume, completing an AI interview based on that resume, and submitting the final form.
