Role overview

Cater Care Australia is looking for a dependable Mine Site Cleaner to support its CCS Operations team in Queensland. This permanent full-time role is based in Brisbane, QLD, and sits within the Cleaning category. The position is rostered on a 14:7 pattern covering both days and nights. The salary range for this opportunity is $75,000 to $85,000 per year.

In this role, you will help maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across mine site facilities. The work is suited to someone who takes pride in delivering quality cleaning and utility support in a busy, hands-on environment and wants to contribute to smooth site operations.

Key duties

• Clean mine site areas such as offices, crib huts, and bathhouses.
• Look after shared areas by emptying bins, sweeping, mopping, and completing general cleaning tasks.
• Check stock levels and replenish items according to the scope of work.
• Deliver work quickly and effectively during busy periods while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Support the wider team whenever needed.

Candidate profile

The right person will have strong attention to detail, be comfortable working on their own, and show a consistent commitment to keeping the site clean and orderly. The role also calls for excellent personal presentation, good hygiene, and a customer-focused mindset.

Experience and requirements

• At least 12 months of experience in a utility, utility all-rounder, cleaner, or housekeeper role.
• A genuine commitment to friendly and professional customer service.
• A self-motivated, enthusiastic, and positive can-do approach.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
• Strong pride in personal appearance and hygiene.
• Valid driver’s licence, either automatic or manual.
• Australian permanent residency is required.
• Willingness to obtain, or already hold, a police clearance.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical assessment.
