Labatt Breweries of Canada is building a future-focused talent pool for millwright roles in its London, Ontario facility. This is an ongoing posting for anticipated openings rather than a single immediate vacancy. The company is seeking people who bring enthusiasm, curiosity, and strong technical ability to help keep production running smoothly.

Compensation and schedule

The pay rate for this position is $43.50 per hour. The role follows a rotating shift pattern and may include overtime, which is paid in line with applicable labour laws and the collective agreement.

What you will do

• Partner with production and maintenance teams to address day-to-day operational needs.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, major repairs, and inspections to reduce the chance of unplanned downtime.
• Machine and fabricate components in the shop using tools such as lathes, mills, saws, grinders, and presses.
• Assess the scope of corrective work and raise work orders where needed.
• Use SAP to review planned work and record maintenance completed.

What the role requires

• A Journeyman Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certificate with Red Seal endorsement (433A).
• At least 1 year of experience as a Journeyman Industrial Mechanic Millwright; 3 years is preferred.
• Hands-on experience repairing a wide range of conveyor systems.
• Familiarity with packaging equipment is an asset.
• Ability to weld to high standards in a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting ability, solid problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ongoing learning.
