Manufacturing Operative

Role overview

Join a busy food production environment where your day-to-day work will help produce high-quality meat products efficiently and safely. This position is practical and hands-on, with a strong focus on accuracy, hygiene, and output standards.

Hourly pay is set at £14.40.

What you will do

• Trim and cut meat precisely to required specifications.
• Set and fine-tune machinery to match product needs.
• Check items for quality factors such as size, weight, colour, and packaging condition.
• Spot production issues and either fix them quickly or escalate them without delay.
• Prepare products for shipping through packing, labelling, and wrapping.
• Assist with incoming and outgoing goods workflows.
• Keep track of stock and use scanning systems to record products.
• Run mince and mixing equipment as required.
• Follow strict rules for food safety, sanitation, and workplace cleanliness.
