Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position is for a Lifeguard in Dubai. The person in this role will oversee pool users and nearby areas to protect swimmer and guest safety, enforce venue rules, and act quickly if any unsafe behavior or emergency situation arises.

Key Duties

The lifeguard will keep a close watch on swimming activity, intervene when necessary, carry out rescues and provide first aid, and maintain continuous alertness. The role also includes routine checks of safety equipment and water conditions, keeping the pool environment tidy, guiding guests on safe facility use, and taking part in drills and training sessions. Working closely with other team members to identify hazards, assist with emergency response, and maintain a positive guest experience is also part of the job.

Qualifications

• Excellent swimming skills and proven ability to carry out water rescues safely and effectively.
• Working knowledge of CPR, first aid, and basic life support; valid certifications are strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with pool safety rules, operational procedures, water condition monitoring, and emergency response practices.
• Clear communication and strong people skills for dealing with guests and coworkers in a professional manner.
• Ability to stay focused for long periods, remain composed under pressure, and make fast, practical decisions.
• Previous exposure to lifeguarding, recreation, or another safety-oriented role is beneficial.
• Readiness to work on-site in Dubai, including shift work and weekends as required by operations.
• Recognized lifeguard certification is required; UAE licensing or local compliance is an added advantage.

Work Conditions

This role is based in Dubai and requires on-site attendance. The schedule may include weekends and shifts depending on facility needs.
