Role overview
Eden Academy is launching a new childcare centre in Wollongbar and is looking for Lead Educators, Assistant Educators, and a Chef to join the opening team. The centre is designed as a warm, welcoming place where children, families, and staff can feel at home. The workplace emphasises a child-safe environment, with a strong focus on wellbeing, empowerment, and respect.
The centre features bright, light-filled rooms, open-ended learning spaces, and outdoor play areas. It will operate from 6:30am to 6:30pm and is built to support up to 100 children.

What you will do

The chef role will support the centre’s food service needs, while educators will contribute to the care, learning, and wellbeing of children in the centre.

Additional requirements
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent
- Or a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent
- Or a Food Handling Certificate
- Traineeship opportunities are available
- Current Working with Children Check
- Working knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards
- Australian working rights
- Professional presentation
- Confidence and curiosity when engaging with families and the local community
- Two professional referees, including one manager or supervisor from a childcare or education setting
