Role overview
Renaissance Baton Rouge is hiring a full-time Laundry Attendant and Delivery Driver. This position supports hotel laundry operations as well as the collection and delivery of linens for contracted clients.
Core duties
- Run washing machines and dryers in line with established procedures.
- Load and remove laundry from equipment according to standard practices.
- Clean and dry soiled linens, towels, rags, and related items.
- Separate hotel linens by type, color, size, and similar classifications.
- Treat stained items before they go through the wash cycle.
- Remove dryer lint daily and keep equipment maintained as instructed.
- Use the iron according to standards and make sure it is switched off at the end of the day.
- Handle the pickup and delivery of linens for contract clients.
