Junior Graphic Designer

Role overview

We are seeking a creative Junior Graphic Designer who can help capture customer attention and strengthen engagement through distinctive visual design. This role covers the full design workflow, from understanding what is needed to producing polished visuals that support the brand.

You will help create and refine graphics, illustrations, typography, layouts, and imagery for a variety of touchpoints. These may include digital channels, social media, in-store signage, printed collateral, product packaging, campaign assets, and similar brand materials.

Key responsibilities

• Review design briefs and translate them into clear creative requirements.
• Develop visual concepts that match the brief and business goals.
• Create initial drafts and share design ideas for review.
• Build layouts, logos, illustrations, and other design assets using digital tools or manual methods when needed.
• Select suitable colours, spacing, and layout structures for each creative piece.
• Coordinate with the marketing team and other designers to deliver the final artwork.
• Check graphics across different formats or media where required.
• Revise work based on feedback and improvement notes.
• Make sure all final outputs are attractive, consistent, and aligned with the brand identity.

Skills and qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Design, Multimedia, or Web Design.
• Strong interest in contributing to an ecommerce marketing environment.
• Ability to adjust quickly when priorities or requirements change.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• A strong portfolio showing a preference for refined, clean, minimalist, and detail-focused design.
• Working knowledge of design tools, especially Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, preferably in a Mac-based workflow.
