Overview
Join a fast-paced travel center environment where each shift brings a different set of tasks and people to support. This role is focused on keeping the store and guest areas clean, safe, and welcoming, while helping create a positive experience for travelers, drivers, commuters, and other visitors. The organization values teamwork, inclusion, and flexibility, and there may be opportunities to learn and grow into other positions across the site.
Pay starts at $15.35 to $18.13 per hour.
What you will do
- Keep the store clean and well presented at all times.
- Clean shower areas and restroom facilities.
- Wash, load, and unload towels used for showers.
- Carry out basic repairs and routine upkeep around the store.
- Collect and remove trash throughout the travel center.
- Deliver friendly guest service by helping maintain a comfortable facility.
Required qualifications
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with others.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and spend most of the day walking or standing.
- Willing to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, days, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar job is an advantage.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment and the ability to handle minor fixes is helpful.
