  • Develop interior design concepts and carry them forward through each stage of the design process.
  • Handle finish material selection, prepare specifications, and assemble finish boards.
  • Apply space-planning knowledge, code awareness, and an understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Prepare construction documents, support construction administration, and review submittals.

  • A bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture is required, and the program must be CIDA accredited.
  • You should have practical knowledge of the FF&E process.

  • Experience using Revit with Enscape or SketchUp with Lumion, plus Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Bluebeam Revu, and Office 365.

Preferred background

  • NCIDQ certification is an advantage.
  • Texas registration with TBAE is also a plus.
  • Prior work in educational, sports, healthcare, or corporate design is highly desirable.
  • The role requires the ability to handle several projects and deadlines at the same time while staying organized and diplomatic.
  • A strong service mindset and client focus are important.

Additional notes

This role is intended for someone who can thrive in a collaborative, interdisciplinary studio environment and contribute to the design of interiors for complex, large-scale facilities.
