Key Responsibilities
- Handle the full interior design process from initial brief discussion through to drawings ready for execution.
- Develop space plans, design concepts, and client-facing presentation material aligned to project needs.
- Work closely with clients, manage discussions, and secure approvals at the required stages.
- Produce working and technical drawings along with project timelines and schedules.
- Partner with procurement, site, and graphic design teams to keep projects aligned.
- Deliver several projects on schedule without compromising design quality.
- Strengthen the company’s design standing by building client trust and presenting compelling pitches.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in interior design.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates relevant design work.
- Confident communication and presentation abilities.
- Capability to manage multiple projects across different locations and sectors.
- Solid understanding of GFCs, materials, commercial costing, and vendor networks.
- Experience in leading teams, improving processes, and coaching performance.
- Comfort with data-led decision-making and building scalable systems.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to work through complex, fast-changing environments.
- Strong executive presence and business-oriented communication style.
Additional Information
This is a full-time, onsite position based in New York, NY. The role is best suited to a candidate who can bring both design expertise and business fluency to a high-growth environment.
