Studio Introduction
Miyi Dai Studio is a New York-based interior design studio specializing in high-end residential interiors. The practice combines architectural planning, custom millwork design, and carefully curated furnishings to create thoughtful and elegant living spaces. The studio currently works on residential projects throughout the US.
Internship Position Overview
This internship offers exposure to the full interior design process, including concept development, furniture sourcing, and project coordination. Interns will gain hands-on experience with real residential projects in New York City, working closely with the principal designer on material research, vendor communication, and design documentation.
Position Details
This is a part-time, hybrid role requiring 10-20 hours per week with a flexible schedule. A minimum commitment of 3 months is preferred, starting in June. The role is primarily remote, with occasional in-person meetings or site visits required in New York. Compensation will be between $18-$25 per hour, based on experience.
